Self-produced electricity - Norrlanda
wind power, solar panels, wood pellets.
IT- and energy strategist Jonny Warg has installed three systems to supply electricity, space heating and hot water needs for his family on their farm at Norrlanda. Since 2001 the household has its own energy production and is no longer connected to the electrical grid. The electricity is produced by a 6 kW wind turbine along with 8m2 solar cells which together charge the batteries that supply the household’s electricity. The space heating is produced by a pellet boiler and the hot water is produced by solar collectors.
